We offer many types of hard landscaping from patios, paving and decking to walls of all descriptions. We can also provide gates, driveways, paths, walkways and fencing. Our team of skilled craftsmen are used to working with a wide variety of materials such as brick, wood, gravel, blockwork and some traditional lime products. We also construct gazebos, summer houses, garden studios and home offices, garages and small extensions.
Planting & Turfing
We offer both turfing for an instant effect or seeding. Lawns can be created for golfers, ornamental reasons or hardwearing for children and pets.
We provide all types of shrubs, trees and plants. We can recommend plants to suit your soil type, maintenance requirements and style.
The sound of water is both therapeutic and calming. We love creating natural swimming pools, waterfalls, ponds, fountains, streams, moats, waterways and rills. The planting can then be considered for an ornamental or natural look.
Leyandi out of control, dangerous branches, pruning, pollarding, topping out can all be completed. Many trees are best dealt with in the autumn so book early as this is a very busy time.
Bricklaying, Block Work, Traditional, Flint Work
Charlies Gardens has an experienced team who are not only skilled in bricklaying and joinery but also have the traditional skills required for vernacular architecture such as cob walls. The team can build walls of any description from brick, flint, cob block render and lime wash render. We also construct driveways, entrances and gates from simple designs right through to entrances for large country homes and estates that incorporate intricate stone walls, ironmongery, automation and security lighting.
We are able to source many reclaimed materials when the need for careful matching is paramount particularly for listed buildings.
Depending on the complexity of your needs we can recommend one of our garden designers who are best suited to your budget and requirements. Our award winning team of designers range from contemporary to traditional, commercial to residential. We are proud to work in association with the runner up of ‘THE GREAT GARDEN CHALLENGE’ Channel 4 competition and Daily Telegraph Designer of the Year.
